Devin Nunes Sues Group for Calling Him a ‘Fake Farmer’

Rep. Devin Nunes (RCA) has sued a group of people that includes a farmer, a librarian, and a botanist for suggesting hes afake farmer. The lawsuit was filed in federal court in San Joaquin on Monday and seeks at least $25 million from a group of seven people, including two named defendants, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

The defendants are a group of people that includes botanist Corinne Hart, librarian and activist Emma Shaw, and farmer and activist Steve Brooks, the Chronicle reported.

The suit claims the group has publicly spread lies about Nunes farming experience and has falsely called him afake farmer. The group has also accused Nunes of being abig agrabusinessman and abig pharma shill, according to the Chronicle.

Nunes lawsuit also targets Red Emmas, a Washington, D.C. bookstore that has hosted protests against him and his campaign.
