A man was arrested for breaking into a woman’s home in New York and hiding in her attic after meeting her online, police said. Mauricio Damian–Guerrero, 21, was caught on the victim’s home surveillance camera going through her unlocked door early Saturday morning, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.
The woman was already awake, however, and called out to the intruder, who fled to the attic, cops said. Damian–Guerrero was apprehended after he was found hiding in the attic and was arraigned Sunday on burglary and other charges.
He was released on $2,000 bail and is due back in court on Wednesday. Earlier this month, Damian–Guerrero was arrested for criminal trespassing after he allegedly broke into a different woman’s home after meeting her on the same subscription–based social media app.
Damian–Guerrero is required to wear an ankle bracelet as part of his earlier release on the earlier charge, according to News 12. Damian–Guerrero’s latest alleged victim told News 12 that she didn’t know him before their OnlyFans correspondence, but she was immediately concerned when Damian–Guerrero told her he was outside her home.
