There are a lot of things we don’t know about the character of Monse Finnie. One thing that is clear, though, is that her mother committed suicide in season 3 of the hit Netflix show On My Block. The show is set in a largely Hispanic neighborhood in South Central LA, and Monse is often protecting her siblings as well as her friends from the violence that surrounds them.
