The sitcom “Mom” first aired in 2013 and was cancelled back in February. Now, CBS Entertainment President Kelly Kahl has finally revealed why.
CBS sitcom Mom was suddenly cancelled back in February, and now a network chief has finally spoken about why. The show first aired in 2013 and showed Anna Faris in the starring role, but she announced that she would not be returning to the popular CBS sitcom last September due to an unexpected circumstance with her contract. She explained this decision on her Instagram account when she wrote “I have lupus,” which is an autoimmune disease.
With such a huge fan following, it’s not hard to see why Mom was such an important show for CBS. I for one am so curious to see if the show will continue on in some other form in the future.
