Audrey’s mom, who was in the hospital with sepsis instead of an overdose, has become distant with Audrey. But when she realizes how difficult things must be for her mom and is left on her own, she starts to see it differently. Sadly though, it came too late — as Audrey accidentally finds out they have to move back to Connecticut before their time is up.
The entire time the show led us to assume that she was an addict and it turns out it was sepsis. We’re not sure if this is a mistake or intentional.
